I recently spent two hours making aloe vera gel. A friend of mine gave me some and I decided to give it a try. What is aloe vera? Well, aloe vera is a plant used for both agriculture and medical purposes. The gel is famous for treating sunburn but there are many more things it can do. -heart burn relif -keeping produce fresh -an alternative to mouthwash -lowering blood sugar -natural laxative -aid to fighting breast cancer - skin care
One way I plan to use the aloe vera is for skin care. Aloe vera can be used for a hair mask or face mask!
🌱Aloe Vera Hair Mask🌱 ▪️aloe vera gel blend the gel until it's liquified. Apply to your hair and don't forget to massage! leave it overnight and rinse in the morning. Why use it in your hair? Well, aloe vera contains the polysaccharide pectin which helps with dandruff when applied to hair!
🌱 Aloe Vera Face Mask🌱 ▪️2 spoonfuls aloe gel ▪️2 spoonfuls plain Greek yogurt ▪️2 spoonfuls grated cucumber mix together and apply to face. Leave it on for 20 minutes then rinse. Use twice a week. Why use it on your face? Well, aloe is full of vitamin E. This vitamin helps keep the skin looking both smooth yet firm.
Making Aloe Vera Gel is a long and gooey procedure but totally worth making!! ----M S G
