I ate way more sugar than I should, today. I had a light dinner in a cafè, with my brand new German-Italian speaking tandem partner. It's a girl who already speaks Italian and wants to practise more. And I need somebody to practise German, since I am so so shy when it comes to the beginnings of speaking a new language. So, among all the food available in that cafè, the best option was a cup of yogurt with fruit and some chocolate sprinkles. The taste of fruit is amazingly good, after about 4 months since last time I had some. I am only allowed avocado and blackberries, the latter ones being out of season, so not available in shops. I had a boost in energy after all that fructose, I am not used to have so much sugary stuff anymore! Let's hope my body reacts well to this unexpected food. Feeling happier today. It helped also to walk a bit after work and meeting this new person. Ihave been to my old work place today. Planned to do so yesterday, but I was feeling so depressed I did not make it. Today it's exactly two years my mum died. I tried not to think about it the all day. We had a catholic mass in her honour when I was in Italy, since she became catholic at some point of her life (one of the few in my family, many of us never had a religion). So, I cried enough back then. Did not do that today. I feel like calling my dad, but honestly I am not sure whether it's a good idea, since it's tough for him as well. Will spend the rest of the evning doing the laundry and maybe going out taking pics of the little town I live in. I have very few of them.
