I am pretending I live someplace where today is actually tomorrow and am writing my Friday journal now! Happy Friday!
I anticipate tomorrow morning will be rushed and I have a busy day "on the road" so here goes!
I figured out that even though I can't juice the night before (don't want to let fresh juice sit too long!) that I could prepare the ingredients the night before! Duh! I got the fruit ingredients ready. I haven't done the veggies yet but they don't take as long as peeling grapefruit and oranges! Anyway that will save me a bit of time tomorrow.
I have been having a reminiscent night. Watched Sleepless in Seattle, love that movie! Those of you who are my Facebook friends have already suffered through my sentiment! The last scene, when Tom Hanks takes Meg Ryan's hand reminded me of the very first time my husband held my hand. We were walking back to his parents house after being at the beach in Cayucos, California when he took my hand. It was magic. I can still remember the feeling. I remember many "firsts" with him and they are as real to me, though many of them more than 20 years ago, as if they happened yesterday. Oh how I love that man. Yes, he can drive me mad but I so love him. I hope I get many more years. Hard to imagine not having him with me.
I think I might brave the scale today (technically still tomorrow as I write this). I don't know why I let that silly thing have such power over me. I had a couple of "off" days but am back to feeling good and thats what is important. I only have 24 lbs to go, plus or minus, I'll get there. And I am feeling much better in my body, even now! I need to burn that feeling into my brain so the next time I'm sliding into the junk food and sugar I will stop! LOL!
So ... Grateful I am ...
That I woke up from my coma in November and made a decision to be kinder to myself.
For having a man by my side to witness my life these past 25+ years.
For payday Fridays!
Another three day weekend! Hooray!

Yea for that 3 day weekend!! An even bigger yea to you for waking up and being kinder to yourself. You are so worth it. I'm really happy you are back here and more happy that you are feeling better and sounding so positive. Good idea getting those fruits and vegges ready at night. Hope you have a great Friday Carol and like I said on Face Book...I love how you feel about the movie and your hubby. I just love romance...lol

Gotta love the 3 day weekends..I love that movie..but I love anything that Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan are in..I also love the movie.."You Got Mail"..I like when he says.."Don't Cry Shop Girl"..Proud of you for taking such good care of you..Have an awesome weekend...Hugs...:O)

I did get on the scale. I'm at 212.6. The day before the two consecutive ice-cream days I was at 210.6. Oh well. It will come back down. I'm not officially recording it here ... it is on paper at home, that is all I need for now. Juice on!!

You sound happy and I love it. And you sound in love and that's awesome to be in love after 25 years. He must be some kind of man and I know its hard to think of him being 'sick' and nothing you can do about it, no control. I love all the movies you mentioned and Shall we Dance mmm - some real sexy parts to that. When he comes up the escalator in his tux with a rose - oh my! Sorry your weight is up a bit but as you say you feel better and that's what counts and its only a number, and you've been there done that and it will come back down, you know it will. Here's to 3 day week-ends right enough, guess you are off Monday. Drive careful today and love that man!
