Mom missed her chair and hit the floor while I was talking to her on the phone June 25. She broke her right femur and narrowly avoided having a full ball joint replacement in her hip. The surgeon used pins instead so the recovery will be quicker, but I'm living with her until she can stay by herself again. Amazing how fast your life can be upended. I miss my house, my husband, and my dog and cats. I'm guessing it will be at least another 3 to 4 weeks before I get my life back and it may not be the same again. Just when I thought 2020 couldn't get worse...

Your mother is lucky to have you! Hoping for a speedy recovery! 🙏🙏🙏 My wife and I just went through a similar situation for 4 months last Fall.
