Overall I've been doing well, but today was not as good as I'd hoped. I got busy with work and worked through the time I had set aside to work out, which is just dumb. I regret it. I did walk to and from work, which is about 40 minutes total, but I really needed a more serious workout today. Grump.
In general, though, I've done well so far this week. I love my lunch salad. In fact, I have one particular tupperware that I use for my salad and I've become quite attached to it. It's the perfect size, and it has held my salad lunch throughout my weight loss journey. In fact, if it ends up back in the cabinet somehow and my husband stores some other kind of leftovers in it or something I become quite distressed. I laugh at myself, of course, but the darn piece of plastic has become an important symbol of my weight loss journey. Anyone else have a similarly silly connection to something like this?
