Day 2... it's still early in the day, but I feel like this app is helping me to be more mindful about the way that I'm eating, and also helping me with my meal planning - to plan healthy meals and also to avoid doing the "good food" "bad food" thing because I can really keep track of my energy consumption. I can actually see what the energy consumption will be for various meals and snacks, and be okay with that because I can see it.
I don't weigh myself because in the past, that has meant a lot of freaking out - I kinda started dieting when I was a kid, and got pretty obsessive about it for a lot of my life so a scale is a big no-no for me. Instead, I am measuring... so let me put in my measurements here for a start and for future tracking on progress :)
Waist: 70 Bust: 90 Thighs: 99 Hips: 85
This is super vulnerable because it is revealing a lot about my disordered eating, my worry about my weight and body shape and size, which I feel quite a bit of shame around both... but it also feels like I can get a grip on these things because there is some mind of objective recording going on - like some logic versus the irrationality of being obsessed with these things.
