Just started with this app yesterday, I have recorded some loss though it might just be the brand new scale I bought yesterday

Depends on the rate you want to lose, if planning to gain or maintain muscle it’s about 1-2 pounds a week! If just going for weight loss and don’t care about muscle you get can about 5-7 pounds a week depending on your calorie and self control

When you 1st start the diet, it's about 5 to 7 pounds the first weeks, but after to goes down to about 2 pounds a week within an approximate of 1200 calories per day.

Depends when in your weight loss journey. In the past I used an extreme calorie reduction for the 1st 3 weeks and I would lose 10 pounds that 1st week. This time around with an 1800 calorie a day diet I lost a good 5 pounds a week for a month. Then it slows down a lot and the real grind starts.

Average daily calories so far this month: 1520. Weight loss: 6.2 lbs. So about 2 lbs./week. My protein is consistently low though and carbs are high. Still trying to figure out that part.

I’ve been on 1500/day for a month and lost 4 pounds so reduced to 1200 the last 2 weeks and it doesn’t look like much of a difference, and I am walking/running an average of 7km daily 😔

I started this journey I am on around the middle of February though I didn’t really get serious until the 1st of March. The first 5lbs came off pretty quickly, about a week but since then it’s been pretty consistent at 2-3 lbs per week. Last week I hit a hard plateau which I knew was coming so I didn’t lose anything at all last week. I started this week by tweaking my food a bit, higher protein and really watching my carbs and I saw the scale start to move again. I try to stay between 1200 and 1400 calories though we are all different 😊 Slow and steady is the healthiest way and makes for more success in maintaining the loss. One day at a time🙏

Anywhere from 1/2 a pound to 2 lbs. consistent monitoring of food intake and exercise working in combination

only about 2lbs per month. slow going for me. I cheat a lot.

same as kenbm! i usually fluctuate between a half pound and 2. when i was on the larger side though i was loosing upwards of 5-6. it all depends on your diet and exercise for that particular set of days.

same as Kenbm the more diligent I am about measuring the better. and dont wait to the end of the day to track. and save your treat for the end of the day and adjust accordingly.

I wish I was losing quicker. I think I do well exercise/counting...but seems to be a slow go for me. 😔

I am losing weight as quick and I am taking weight pretty quick too if I go crazy on sugar lol otherwise with a balanced diet (I still eat carbs, never go up to 25% of fat a day ) I can lose 1LB a day the first week then it is slowing down to 1LB a week. I guess we all have different metabolism. The important is to know your body and know which diet is the best for you.

Take your goal weight and times it by 8. That’s the daily calories you want to hit for “rapid weight loss”. It’s hard and very good results. But easy to gain back if cheating

So far it’s been about 2lbs a week but I’m only on my second week. I’m not trying to sprint to the finish line though, I just want to lose 15lbs by the end of the summer hopefully. So if I maintain this pace I’ll get there for sure. But I anticipate I will hit a plateau at some point.

1200 calories isn't enough that's maybe your problem..

I can't seem to reach my required calorie intake its always 1000 or less...I don't eat enough....
