Päiväkirja - Absynthia, 30 huhti 14

I can't believe I'm down 2 more pounds in the past 2 days, even with all the eating I've done and the extra sodium. That is really confusing! And I know I'm not dehydrated because I drank plenty of water! I did stick with low carb choices on all my food, there was just too much of it. I will wait a few days to record my weight since I just did it last on Sunday. I know it's not good to weigh every day when you are trying to lose, but I have to monitor my weight every day to keep an eye on my fluid retention for my heart.

Which brings up another good thing -- I was on the road for about 12 hours in the past 2 days and there is hardly any fluid on my ankles at all! I haven't been able to do that in years -- I would have had to wrap my ankles in ace bandages if I took a road trip more than 3 hours. I had a cardiac ablation done about 3 weeks ago and it really was a good decision -- it is changing my life for the better. Hardly any flutters or irregular beats anymore either, and I haven't been out of breath any at all. The lack of fluid retention shows me that my heart is working more efficiently. I can't wait for my next checkup, to see what the dr says.
