Today, I am 39 weeks pregnant! I have gained a lot of weight: about 55 pounds to be exact!
I am so excited to get back into being healthy and being more able to exercise--or to just walk--and breathe normally. I am going to nurse my new baby, so I am excited to begin that once I give birth.
Fatsecret says I have 60 pounds to lose.
As soon as the doctor tells me it is ok, I plan to start exercising normally--daily if I can.
I don't plan to have a C-section and everything looks like I won't have to have one, but I will just have to make exercise plans based on how the delivery goes. With the delivery of my son 7 years ago, I did fine and was able to bounce back fairly quickly. My first goal is to just start walking days after my release from the hospital. My husband is going to be off work with me as well and he wants to try to lose weight as we have both been slipping a lot!
I am so excited and a little nervous about how this will go. I lost a lot of weight in 2010 and that is how I got healthy, but I plan on actually eating healthier foods and not just eating less calories. Also, I am going to try to drink more water and less soda. BUT, I am giving myself until the delivery to just eat when hungry right now and lay around and rest so that my back doesn't start hurting again.

I can do this! Just have to be patient!

BEST OF LUCK WITH YOUR DELIVERY! Congratulations on deciding to nurse your baby as well, in my experience, on top of being the best choice for the health of your baby, it did wonders for me in helping me lose the baby weight!!!!
