I am little discouraged by the scale today. I have lost 8 lbs. since January, but I was hoping to see a larger drop when I when whole heart into Atkins. However, I am not giving up or retreating. I am resolved to push forward.
I am working on getting more protein and vegetables into my diet and I am researching sweeteners to see which will work best for me. I am a southern girl that loves sweet tea. I have always used real sugar until I started Atkins. I have Truvia, Equal, and Sweet n Low on hand. I am using those up in sequence so I see which seems to work better in taste and on the scale.
My husband asked me what I wanted for Valentine's. I told him no sweets, no chocolates, I want the new Atkins book. I have just been using the internet for my information. I think having the book will provide me with another resource to help me stay the course.
I have to say, if the scale shows a big drop tomorrow, I am going to record it.
