Päiväkirja - Ruhu, 18 touko 14

They call him "the Boss" for a reason. The concert was great & we had a lot of fun with our friends. He played a lot of songs from his new album in the beginning, but just as I was beginning to get tired (he sang from 8 pm until after 11), he sang the oldies but goodies. DH & I drove back early this morning & he's off to fly to Japan for the week.

Although ATF for the weekend started with me overeating some Fri night, since then its all good. With DH leaving and it being Sunday which in the past has been an indulgence day that I'me trying to temper into another day of mindful eating, I was having disordered eating thoughts that started last night & continued this morning, but luckily they seem to have passed and I'm feeling focused again on staying my course NSNGng. I had emailed a special, dear friend about my obsessions about what to eat today, and it really helped get me back on track. I'll have to remember that in the future when thoughts about disordered eating come calling again.

We were home so nice & early that I was able to one of my fav HIIT workouts, and now have the afternoon to enjoy. It's an absolutely gorgeous day here, so a walk with my doggie is definitely on the agenda as well as some grocery shopping. it will take me awhile to coordinate what & how much the boys eat now that they're both home, but loving every minute of it. We had an especially nice dinner out with them & oldest's GF on Fri night to celebrate younger DS & older's GF graduations, and older DS's awesome semester grades (3.67).

And even though its midday now, I'll stop to pray --

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.
Amen.

And, through this one day and each one meal, moment, bite, thought & emotion, I'll pray, breathe, log, journal & express my way. I'm so grateful for each of fantastic you, my family & IRL friends, having order returned to my disordered thoughts, beautiful weather and having the health & wealth to enjoy it! xoxox
