This new mode of eating has not been terribly hard so far (though the digital food scale really helps!), and I am happier than I expected to be. Even more miraculous, I am actually losing weight, in a steady, if undramatic, fashion. It is not fast, but it certainly beats gaining! Also, I feel a lingering dread, as I know the pounds will likely be more stubborn, the fewer extra of them there are. Still, why borrow trouble? Things are working okay now, with just some moderate moving around (walking, chores, etc.). At some point, I would like to get a Wii, as I think that would be a fun way to get more exercise in. But we have some other home issues in the way of doing that right now. Also, with the better weather coming, overall it should only get easier to get out and walk, or otherwise be active outside. Winter is tough. So must I be.
