Don't feel bad Carol, I haven't even had time to READ your journals to catch up. Not to be a bad penny, but I just heard on the news this morning, the issues in Mexico and a warning for tourists NOT to come? Did you hear this? Lots of stuff happening even in well known areas like Cancun, etc. Please, please be very careful!!!! My boss just came from Mexico City and said most of the problems are on the border, not too much in the City, just you should not go out too much at night or alone. Please, careful Carol. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be a downer. I will get back more to you later. 

When you read this the dreaded exam will be behind you!! Yahoo for mexico, beach and margaritas!!! Yeah carol!!! We'll be thinking all good thoughts while you are gone!! 

Hope you do/did well on your exam. I'm sure you are prepared and will pass no problem. Eep. That's a little scary about Mexico. Just make sure your margarita drinking is done close to your bed. Warm sun + booze + lounge chair = pure bliss.  

Most of the problems are indeed along the border or in Mexico City. The tourist areas are relatively safe ... probably no more dangerous than New York or any other major metropolis in the States. However, we will of course be careful ... no plans to stray off the beaten path. The exam is behind me. I have no clue how I did but at least it is done ... for now ... unless I have to take it again. Wouldn't that be embarrassing!! Thanks for all you good thoughts and your concern that I am safe!!! 

Hi Carol! I hope your exam went well. I miss you. I was so tired yesterday after only sleeping 3 hours the night before that I fell asleep with the laptop on my lap. I had all intentions of catching up. I am so behind at work that I really don't have time there either. I will get it together. lol Have read quite a few this morning. Hope to catch up with you later..Guess I am not made for all this travel...lol 

Morning Carol! I'm too late to wish you the best for your exam... I'm sure you did great! Now you only have to focus on getting ready for your vacation. Keep us posted! 

Me too Carol, belated wishes on that test at least, and I'm sure you will be fine. You are a smart cookie and we all know it. I KNOW you are excited and cannot wait for your vaca. Lucky you!! Time is on the countdown big time now. Enjoy your day Carol and be sure to let us know what's what.

Carol, its vacation time soon. Exams are over and I know you did well. Work for you is crazy I am sure. Enjoy your vacation if you don't get a chance to journal before you go.  

Hmm. In defense of my hometown I must say we don't have too many tourist kidnappings in NYC. ;) But--I hear you. I wouldn't worry too much.  

Feliz fiestas!!! (Happy holidays in Spanish). Hope your accomodation is an "all inclusive." :-) Must feel wonderful to have that exam done and some sunny, tropical days ahead. Expecting great news on your exam results based on your wonderful communication and writing skills. :)
