Päiväkirja - madaboutmoose, 16 huhti 09

Good Thursday Morning!! The sun is shining and it promises to be a BEAUTIFUL day!! I've had a rash of migraines the past two days and have had to come home from work early. I am hoping to get through today without another episode. This happens to me every so often and has since I was a young girl (9 yrs old). There doesn't appear to be any rhyme or reason to it so I just try to get throught them the best that I can.

Frank fluctuated up today. Silly Frank!! I continue to work at riding his moods ... and not letting them impact my own. As Frank fluctuates I ask myself, "do I really want to weigh everyday?", and the answer is still the same for now ... "yes." I just KNOW me ... I am feeling so good that I fear I might slip back into denial and go back to old, self-destructive habits. Like today ... I swiped a taste of icing from a cake in the breakroom. No one was there!! One little taste won't hurt. And, in all actuality one little taste won't hurt. It is the going back for more, the rationalizing that I can that "this" or "that" and it didn't really count that has the negative impact in the long run. So ... I'll continue to ride Frank's roller-coaster for now and focus on the downward trend of the chart, not the upward fluctuations.

So, today I will be HERE and enjoy what life presents me. Migraine or not I am okay. I hope everyone finds some peace in their day today and can keep those negative voices at bay!! ENJOY!!

Sorry about the migraines, they can be rough. As usual you have common sense words about our journey to our goals. :-)

Weigh-in everyday also impacts my progress, so I completely understand what you are talking about. I hope you feel better soon.
