Well the scale is going the way it should but I know it's always easier at first because I've done this sooooooo many times. the difference this time is that I'm eating and paying attention to what goes in my mouth reasonably well...the last time I lost weight I wasn't eating enough to sustain a mouse. This time I am eating meals and learning a healthier way to live. It's been easier than I thought it would to lose weight WHILE eating! It's those pesky carbs that I still can't seem to get under control! Ideas for lowering my carb intake would be great!! Back on the scale in one week...

Good job! I have to agree that I am successfully working towards a healthy weight because I AM NOT DIETING. I am learning to eat healthy, I track every ounce of food I put in my mouth and I accept responsibility for my choices. Yes, right now I'm on reduced calories (incl carbs, sugars, fats, etc) but I'm learning to make better choices. No it's not coming off as fast as it did when I tried HCG but it's also not gonna come back in the blink of an eye like it did when I stopped HCG. This time it's a life-long lifestyle adjustment.

Use spaghetti squash in place of pasta! We do this a lot in my house! Also try wheat wraps in place of bread for sandwiches and stuff. I do cheeseburger wraps instead of a bun sometimes!
