I'm still very happy about the low numbers on the scale this week. I feel like I'm making changes that are healthy and good for me. There are some foods that I'm eating that I'm not sure I can totally incorporate into my new "normal". However, the healthy grains and roasted veggies are just awesome and I'm sure I'll be cooking those from now on.

As for my husband, he's down 22 pounds in 4 weeks. 302 to 280. I'm certain that he's not eating enough, and that he's not really developing good habits. He is so fixated on the numbers that it doesn't matter to him how he gets there. I'm hoping that with time I'll be able to teach him how to steam veggies, how to quickly cook up a chicken breast, and what good foods are easy to buy at the market. Otherwise, he'll put the weight back on in no time. He loves to eat out at lunch everyday, I can't imagine how hard that is!
