So today is officially my 'last' rest day. I am less tired than I was but not feeling supercharged. I expect that the uncertainty of when my job will end is causing a significant portion of my sleep loss and resultant tiredness. Also my housekeeper was a no show the last two Wednesdays in a row. She has promised to come on Saturday and do my cleaning which will be nice but I like the feeling of coming home Wednesday and having a clean and tidy house. I stress now because she has become so inconsistent. I don't pay her if she doesn't do the job but I still stress that the job won't get done. She has been working for me for about eight years and has been very good at coming and cleaning when scheduled until this year; she has been only about 50% present. The little life issues that you think are manageable are also what accumulate to stress you out. I have to be out of the house for her to clean so I've decided to make my day tomorrow about getting some little things off my to-do list. Hair cut, Passport photos, new photo for my linked-in profile, to the gym for a moderate paced lifting workout with a good cardio sweat after. Then to the record store I feel the need for a few new black circles. That should consume about four hours of my day so I can go home to a clean house (well condo). I'll spin the black circle and eat a barbeque chicken with some roasted potatoes. I'll need to go for a walk to help the chicken settle but then I hope to get a nap in, just 25-30 min, just long enough to feel some rest without going too deep and ruining my night time sleep. The mission for the day is to be selfish do me stuff and put other things on hold.
