When I was losing, I weighed daily but averaged weekly. The trend is more important than the daily fluctuations. I had plenty of short and long plateaus, but was committed to a reasonable lifestyle which didn’t really change when I got to an acceptable (not ultra thin) stable weight, so there has been little struggle to maintain.
