First night of the new self-built workout routine, post-P90X.
A lot of it's the same in terms of which muscle groups are worked, but I'm slowing it all down to do a few sets of heavier reps. Barbells involved too, instead of just pushups/chinups/dumbbells.
Because there are a lot fewer exercises (6, 3 of them with 3 sets, 3 with 2 sets), I figured it would not be as grueling as P90X....wrong.
Feeling sick to my stomach right now - even more so than after starting P90X. Pretty sure I'm gonna be in pain tomorrow too! But I have to say...this did feel effective. Like I got the more targeted, intense lifting that I was hoping for.
We'll see! Hope I don't throw up though...
