Im craving white bread with tomato and melted cheese. I honestly will survive if I don't indulge the craving. This is the other side of discipline - telling yourself "No" and actually mean it. The more you do it, the easier it becomes. But I should not stop at "No". That might be a little cruel. I should examine why I have the craving. Am I genuinely hungry and the craving is my body signalling the hunger by using something I do enjoy? If yes, what is the better food choice that is more in line with my health goals and all also satisfy my hunger? I don't want to be cruel, tough, strict with myself. I believe I can exercise self-discipline with self-compassion.
