I was just notified of a promotion. That should have made my day, but when I got home and had no one to celebrate with, I went out and bought a Wendy's burger and had two big servings of ice cream. I cried myself to sleep. I miss my husband so much.

I am here too as well as your many other FS friends and family. While no one knows your loss completely there are those of us who have also walked in similar shoes. I remember too well that emptiness and loneliness. Congrats on your promotion...your hubby would have been so proud of you!
