5:30 am on a Saturday morning and I am awake. What is wrong with this picture? Just couldn't sleep. Oh well. Such is life. Bob was sitting up on the side of the bed with a blinding headache, which is quite unusual for him. So I got up to get him something to take for his head and back into bed. But then, the dog was up and down, up and down, up and down off the bed (and not a small dog ... Blue weighs close to 100 lbs!!). Which is terribly annoying if your head hurts and you don't feel well (been there, done that, have the t-shirt). And, since I was wide awake I decided to just get up, so here I am!!!
Coffee is perking, looking forward to that first cup!! It's a tad on the chilly side this morning here, only 41 degrees outside. Our weather is just so crazy here. I think I've given up trying to figure it out.
I hope Bob feels better. Our son is coming up for the day and he wanted to spend some time with him. I think we're going to make a pot of spaghetti sauce and have spaghetti for dinner.
Me? I have very exciting things on my agenda like laundry, dishes, dusting, picking up around the house!!! Oh, and let's not forget exercising and making a decision on a video conferencing program.
My scale was up slightly today ... no rhyme nor reason as I have actually been very "on track" the WHOLE work week!!! Unbelievable. I shouldn't complain though ... the scale declined EVERY DAY this week until today. I have a very quick trip to Michigan next week. I fly out on Thursday morning then back on Friday night. Travel usually messes with my eating. Sometimes I am quite vulnerable to any bump in the road, change in my routine, and I'm feeling vulnerable these days.
Well ... the coffee is now done I do think I will have myself a cup!!!
And as I drink it I shall ponder gratefulness ...

Morning! Sorry you are up so early on a week-end day but nice of you to stay up to let hubby rest,hope he feels better soon. I am sure you will fill your morning time with useful pursuits like FS - lol. Its wonderful news about Cathy isn't it? The wedding will be spectacular in Disney, I love disney world they do things up right. Have a great day hun and hope there is some fun in their along with the mundane chores. Congrats onn a whole week of being on track.

I too was up very early this morning, fortunately not because of a headache. I hope Bob will feel better soon and will enjoy the day with your son. Your day sounds like mine lol, very exciting! Calgary Stampede started yesterday, which means the weather will be bad for the next 10 days. Don't ask me, it is not a science lol, just a fact. It's always cool and rainy weather for the Stampede!
