We have RAIN!! The temperature has dropped, lightning, thunder, and big RAIN. I'm sure the ground needs it. I'm not sure those attending the annual concert series that is hosted here every summer will be delighted about the moisture. Maybe it will let off by this evening! I am not attending the concert .... don't even know who is playing tonight actually. Sort of out of the loop!! Tickets average about $50.00 per person ... a little rich for my blood!
Perhaps it was the rain but I slept well last night. I was so full when I got home after our potluck/staff meeting yesterday. I thought about what I ate and tried to estimate it in my food journal. I came home and exercised ... for the second time that day ... and it seemed to help me not feel so darn bloated. The food was tasty though ... I think I just ate a bit too much of it. Potlucks are like buffets ... difficult for me to stop and not want just a little more of this or that.
We might go out for Italian this weekend. There is a local Italian restaurant that is very good in our little town named Arlo's. Or we might meet some friends and go out to listen to music and dance. We haven't decided yet.
I'm okay this morning in terms of my thoughts, feelings, and attitude about me and my physical self. I remain in "my range" on the scale, I feel rested, I feel strong. There are no known temptations awaiting me on the eating forefront today ... which is good. Time for me to pack my food for the day and get ready to go!!
