Another 100 km,

First the good news: first 50 km i cycled in two hours. That means that my official average speed is 25 km/h
after that i got lost which cost me half an hour and about 8km.

then i had a big brunch at my parents house... all good and well but lots of slow-digestable carbs. Not really bad unless you have to cycle another 53km...

At the way home, my parents joined me and brought me about 10 km (in almost 45 mins!!!) after that i picked up my own pace, but soon after i started to get nasty stings of pain in my right-side... after about an hour i decided to hit a small cafe, order a drink and wait untill the pain subsided.

After starting again the pain came back but not so intense, so i did not have to forfeit, but it did slow me down. That AND the major climb up the hill, where i was actually grunting with each peddel...

at home i calculated that all in all the return trip cost me 2.45 hours. plus the 2 hours from the beginning.

so i cylced 111 km in 4 hours and 45 mins.

say what you want im still proud. Took me about 4 hours to recover on the couch, but this morning when i got up i felt pretty good. I have a semi-restday (just one hour of aerobics-class) but if you where to ask me to go cycle for two hours, i feel like i could!

next challenge is saturday: triatlon - 1h swim, 1h cycle, 1h run

WOW Maud... You're KILLING it!!! That is a LOT of cycling!!! I did 85 km two weeks ago, and that was a GREAT workout... the last 10% I thought I would DIE... Keep up the great effort!
