Päiväkirja - amyskids, 27 touko 15

I think I'm going to cut back a little on the exercise. Maybe stick with 3x a week instead of 5. I need a day or so in between for weigh ins. My brain likes to see the scale move for more motivation and when I work out 5x a week, my muscles tend to hold on to water, keeping the scale from moving. This just means i'll be eating less calories but eating what's required to keep losing but losing in a healthy way. If I hit a rut, I'll add in another work out day but I want to see how this goes. I am 7lbs away from my goal. Im really hoping to reach it by June 19, which will be hubby's and my 11th anniversary. We're planning a weekend away so I want to look and feel great!

If you enjoy the exercise, then keep exercising 5x a week. As you get closer to goal, it gets harder to get those pounds off. You may see the scale drop from water weight, but with exercise you will lose fat/inches. I would rather weigh 150 and be a size 4 than be weigh 140 and be a size 8. Exercise makes the difference (and healthy eating). If you feel tired, then reducing it for a bit might help.

Suzi161, I do enjoy it when I'm not tired lol. I might actually do a little on my stepper tonight. Not too much. And then do an hour tomorrow and then break on Friday and then another hr on Sat. I was kind of doing 1 hr on Monday, Wed, and Fri and 30 mins on Tues and Thurs. I do like that I'm seeing some toning going on so I might still work out 5x a week but maybe not AS hard. 15 mins tonight on the stepper is about 150 calories burned. Might go for a run/brisk walk tomorrow evening as long as it's not raining but I better do something during the day in the house just incase it DOES rain and I can't go out.

Oh, and BTW, I am 148 and a size 8/10, depending on the brand. lol
