I am blessed that my Internist has a
Registered Dietician at her office
that I now have been seeing for a
little over a month.

My take away from today's meeting is
that cane/high fructose corn sugars causes bad gut bacteria to grow
and fiber causes good gut bacteria to grow.

Also, those sugar labels for foods & beverages
can be tricky, I need to make sure I read
the fine print.

I love the 40-30-30 meal plan!
It's kind of funny when I have my snack of 2-3 cups of air-popped popcorn with nutritional yeast on it, apple cider vinegar in my psyllium husk drink, I also need to have a cup of non-starchy veg. So yesterday I had it with radishes. Odd, but good and getting my nutrients all working with each other for my health.

It's great to know that I don't have to starve and I am slowly losing fat and not lean muscle. Resistance training is an ideal compliment to the 40-30-30 meal plan.I can do this meal plan for life, because it is so easy AND I have so much energy it is fabulous!

**REMEMBER: Health is a marathon and not a sprint.**
