Päiväkirja - mommies, 10 elo 11

Today was a really crazy day... My husband and I took our friend Shelly to the airport in San Francisco, CA which is 3 hrs away from our home. So we left about 12:30 this morning and got there about 3:30 am. We dropped her off and turned around and came back home. On the way home I got soooo sleepy but I know that I have to stay awake when my husband is driving because he tends to fall asleep at the wheel ( Not good!)anyway we stopped for coffee and I happened to stock up on sweet n low so I was ok. Wow I really was exhausted when we got home at 7 am this morning. I am not sure if it is because this is my first week on Atkins or if I was just soo tired from being up all night. So we went to bed and I got up about noon. Then I had to run my daughter to the Dr for a TB test and found out she needed a physical so we were at the Dr.'s office for close to 3 hrs. once we were done there I took her to a friends house that lives 20 miles away so by the time I got home I was really hungry and ready for dinner. In the future I will try not to skip meals.

I had some fatigue the first few weeks on Atkins (induction flu) and if you're short on sleep that definitely doesn't help. LOL. :) Congrats on sticking to your plan though! That's not always easy when you've got one of those 'running off your feet' days! :)
