on Tuesday the 13th I had skin removal surgery from my stomach. 7 pounds was removed. I've been wanting to do this for a long time. After losing 140 pounds, it feels good to get rid of the baggy apron once and for all! I have 2 drainage tubes that I've never had before it's a pain dealing with them I will get them taken out on Feb 27th. I know it will all be worth it, in the end. I now must remain stable at this weight whatever it may be, I haven't been on the scales yet. I'm happy to have this done!

I understand that this type of surgery has a painful recovery but in the end I’m sure the results are worth it! Fat Secret member “Year Of Health” also had this done and more. I remember her recovery was intense too. The after pictures of her now are amazing and I hope you will post after pics as well. Take care💜

I had it done about 2 years ago. It has completely changed the way I see myself. Same habits but now I feel fit. So excited for you!

So far the pain has been ok, about a 2 or 3 i am taking pain pills as needed i just dont like sleeping flat on my back, due to the two drainage tubes. Yes i will show pictures once i can wear clothes again, i must wear a girdle for a few months, I think? The nurse told me i didnt have any fat underneath all that skin, that was a strange surprise. Thank you everyone for the kind words and encouragement, yes its going to be awhile til its healed, but so worth it!

Thnx for your support i wanted to also do my thighs but it cost too much per leg and i have many tattoos that i would lose, same thing if i did my arms, lose my tattoos so i will leave them alone, my stomach was the area that bothered me the most i will share photos when i can wear clothes again lol
