Great day yesterday (Monday). Only had a bit over 1,200 calories. Weight down from 199.2 on Monday morning to 196.8 on Tuesday morning. VERY pleased with that! I think I might start walking a couple of miles today with the boot on. If I’m not bending my toe (which I can’t do in the boot), I think I can walk at least 2 miles. After I had total knee replacement surgery, within 10 days, I was walking a couple of miles a day with a walker. I’ll have to go slowly, so I don’t trip with the clunky boot, but I think I will be fine. I think his main concerns with the walking were (1) bending my too too much, and (2) having it rub up against a regular tennis shoe, and delaying healing. I WILL follow the surgeon’s advice about not getting it wet, though. DAY TWO begins! Only 7 more diet root beers to finish before I’m a water-only girl!
