Well, I haven't been eating the best. I know it. I haven't been exercising. Yes, I haven't. I am calling myself out on my stupid behavior.

This weekend marked the end of letting life lead me by the leash. Essentially, I just haven't controlled myself.

I don't overeat, but I don't make the best eating choices, and I sit my buttocks more than I should.

Starting Monday, October 10, 2011, a new me is emerging. Other times I have failed to emerge. I am determined. I feel a strength in me. I know there are going to moments where I want to cave. I WON'T!

I have lost close to 40 pounds since August 2010. Not fast enough for me by any stretch. However, what have I been doing? Yes, the medicine has helped. The medicine for the thyroid condition and my PCOS.

Well, I am determined. I have come up with a plain to eat and exercise my way to success. Yes, I will have moments I cheat. However, I won't cave. The goal is to establish habits.

So my goal is from October 10th to November 10th, I will eat out only when I hang out with my friends. If I eat out, I will eat responsibly and portion control. I will not drink soda. I will not drink sugary tea. I will eat less bread. I will only eat beef in trace amounts. I resolve to eat more vegetables. I resolve to get some proper rest.
I resolve to exercise for 30minutes a day which will be increased to two separate 30 minute workouts a day.

While today certainly was not the start of my lifestyle change, I forced myself to get out and walk for 30 minutes.

Forcing yourself on that walk was the begining of your new goal. It may not be the first step in your journey but its another step and another start!! You're going to do great!!!
