good morning everyone!! Beets' challenge is a go! My whole menu is figured out for today, including my dinner, so I should be good! Tomorrow I will post my weight, and we'll go from there. :)</P><P>I mentioned to Deana in one of my comments from my previous entry that I doubt I'll lose 32 lbs in 3 1/2 months, but I'm definitely going to try! If I lost another 10 lbs I'll be happy! I know you don't lose weight as fast once you get down to a decent weight. I remember when I was in the 280s and all the way down to about the 220s, the weight flew off! it was unbelieveable. these last 45-55 lbs took a couple of years to come off...and i'm a very impatient person!! lol!</P><P>Anyway, positivity is the word for the year. Last year, our family was thrown my mom's breast cancer diagnosis, my dad wound up getting a very bad bacterial infection, and my brother lost his job...hence the reason we gave a big F YOU to 2009 on NYE. :)</P><P>2010 is my year, if I haven't already said that, and I'm so so excited! And I'm really excited because we're all going through this year together!</P><P>Anyway, enough of my babbling. everyone enjoy ur day! :)

Aww, thanks Erika!! but honestly, i wouldn't be able to stick to this if it weren't for all of you! your journal in particular is one I look forward to because you become very focused and organized. and that exercising u do...it definitely motivates me!

Aww, what a great journal. I would definitely give a big F You to 2009, too. And you're right, after a certain the point the weight just seems stuck. We'll get it right this year! : ) Good luck Gina.

Yes--good riddance, 2009! Losing that amount of weight would probably require some drastic measures, but you can definitely make goals you can achieve and feel good about. It's still a struggle for me to stick to a plan for a whole week so I am planning to feel good at the end of this week! My husband and I were married 4.5 yrs ago and people still tell us it was their favorite wedding. We paid for a lot of it ourselves so we had to work with that. But I will pass on a secret: Make it about the FEELING not the STUFF. I read that on some website somewhere and it really stuck in my head. We tried hard to make it reflect our personalities and the things we loved and about having a SUPER FUN JOYFUL PARTY. That's my wedding advice. Happy New Year!

Thanks for ALL of the advice, Beets, wedding & weight! :) I think setting mini goals has always been my thing, but I just haven't done it in awhile. I did set my 160 goal, which I never made (was only .5 away!!), but that's ok! After I weigh-in tomorrow, I'll figure all of them out. :)
