I had a very busy day at work yesterday. It was good, though! Ended up fasting 27 hours, then made a couple of chicken drumsticks and fresh green beans. Very satisfying! My weight is still bouncing around the 170 mark after a week of experimenting with adding in more carbs, so I've decided to go back to staying under 20g.
I feel like 170-ish is my new set point, for the time being, so going back to being a little more restrictive should help reset it.
We're back in Summer-like weather here...expecting a high in the mid 80's today. I woke up in a major sweat this morning...no wonder! I had the windows open, and the humidity is 95%. Ugh.
I was looking at pictures of the fires in Gatlinburg, TN. Devastating! I love that area, and used to live about 15 miles from Pigeon Forge. So sad to see the destruction of so many landmarks. They now are pretty sure that it was arson. I just don't understand people sometimes.
Today is shaping up to be another busy day at work. I have 2 new clients booked, which is kind of a big deal. I don't advertise, and because I'm an independent contractor, I don't get walk-ins. All my new business comes from referrals. Three new clients in a single week is huge!

Congratulations on your new clients. I got a perm Monday, love the lady who does my hair, she is beautiful inside and out. It is so sad about Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. So many people have lost their homes and their jobs. Very sad indeed.

That is GREAT news about the new clients. The fires in North and South Carolina were also arson. It just makes no sense at all. I don't understand how anyone could purposefully set fires... have to have something wrong with their thinking for sure.

Thanks guys! I'm tired, and my body aches, but next month's bills are covered, with extra to spare! I'm feeling good about where my body is, and while the pounds aren't going down, the inches are. It's all good!

Congrats on the new clients, that's terrific! I've been looking at the pictures from TN, too. When I lived in San Diego there was one big fire that was arson. I don't understand that kind of evil either. I hope they catch whoever did this.
