Due to yesterday's lo-carbing, i saw another 1.4 pds drop, altho its not the same as two consecutive days of 2 pound losses---i guess the accelerated, induction-intial weight loss is tapering off now. I wanted to make it last as long by adding in heavy workouts. BUT. Seems like it's not to be so for a couple days atleast. Yesterday I fell down in my total body class--off the low bench, and behind on the floor, and right onto the weights lying there, and as a result must have twisted my arm a little, and now can't lift it or do any work with it, even as little as opening the fridge door! I somehow got through that class and did the remaining stuff with only the good arm, and then headed to the treadmill and walked for 30 mins at 3 mph..jogging was harder on that arm as the swinging motion made it a little painful.
I am not going to the regular gym today--gonna take it easy. But will go to my building gym and at least do active biking and elliptical..even if I can't do any weights and such. I'm bugged that this is killing my motivation so soon in the game!!
Oh the good news yesterday was that I sweating much more even going so slow on the treadmill...that means I'm already getting in relatively better shape to begin sweating so fast. The bad news is my running seemed too effortful and at a given time, i could only do 1-1.5 mins!!! I did download the couch-to-5k podcast and will be starting that as soon as my arm will allow!!
