I've had a busy couple of days...Monday: doctor's appointment to go over my A1c test (average blood sugar) and to get my perscription renewed...she was really impressed with how much my average dropped, it's now right where they want it.

Tuesday: appointment with diabetes specialist & the dietitian...they were both impressed with my progress with blood sugar & with my weight loss. The dietitian was happy with my diet, except for not enough calcium & vitamin D (need to drink more milk or take supplements).

So at least I know what I am doing is the right thing, just have to continue with the progress...the only concern they had was my sleeping habits, they said I need to get 7hrs per night & I only get between 5&6...so I have to make an effort there...

Anyway, it was nice to get the reasurance that I am doing the right thing & to keep going...they told me that if my next A1c comes in that low, they were only going to send me every six months instead of every three...I like that plan!!
