Good Sunday morning everyone. I have been holding steady at 144.8 pounds all week. However, I made an impulse purchase yesterday that will have a definite impact on my exercising. After missing it for 28 years, I purchased a keyboard. I haven't played nor sung in so long I need to relearn how to do it again. I sat yesterday for nearly 2 hours and it felt like moments. I had forgotten how lovely it was to immerse myself in music. I used to teach music and to have to relearn it is frustrating, but the joy of my fingers touching the keys again is worth it. Fingering practice for now until I get home to retrieve my music books. Then time to practice my voice. I expect it will be frustrating as well as I was a trained singer. But after nearly 3 decades of not being used, like any tool sitting forgotten on a shelf , it's rusty. Time to take it out of storage and shine it up. ☺🎹🎼🎶
