alright confession time for the new year i decided that i was gonna quit smoking down fall to that is that i've been off my diet..so i havent smoked in about 5 days its weird cause before when i was hungry or whatever i would just smoke but now i cant do that so i've been kinda eating everything in site.. i have to figure out what is gonna work now.. any ideas

I heard eating oranges were good for nicotine cravings. Drinking tea or diet beverages, chewing lots of gum might help some. I quit somoking when I got pregnant, and it was very hard to quit cold turkey. I also gained a lot during pregnancy. Even if you do gain a little, it is still in your best interest to quit smoking. You should consider trying Nicorette gum or a patch or perscription pill, to slowly wean yourself off it. It is much easier that way, and you are not getting the poisonous smoke in the process.

I hate to start a controversy or anything;) but, although Lotus is right in regards to quiting smoking is best, even if you gain a bit, I disagree with the quit smoking aids. All of these continue to put nicotine in your body.... chew normal sugar free gum, it's the same thing, and go outside, breathe in fresh air, WORKOUT, drink water. I agree with drinking lots of water to clean out your liver. Lemon water really helps detox too, add some stevia or splenda to make lemonade. You might try a detox program or taking an herb blend that detoxes the liver.
