Honestly have no hope that there is going to be any change in my weight this week. I want to switch over to a diff eating plan. Should I take a few days between or can I dive right in?

tobias im not on one right now. but i was on the egg diet last year and managed to lose weight with it. i found it easy to maintain long term, the other diets like 28 day diet etc is too restrictive for me

thanks guys. I'm focusing on my goals. set short, medium and long term goals. so just taking it 5kgs at a time

lchf changed my life and my outlook on eating in general. to me, i see it as a lifestyle change and not a 'diet' per se. i cut out sugar completely and limit myself to the absolute minimum carbs possible. i allow myself a cheat meal once a week. for me, it was important to not be too hard on myself and not be in a rush. i take it one day at a time and if i fall off the wagon, i simply put it behind me and carry on. i believe we put too much pressure on ourselves and try to do too much in as little time as possible. break up your goal into smaller chunks and eat the elephant one bite at a time. it's taken me a year to lose 13kg but i'm happy with it that way.
