Back in the 70's (when I was much thinner and hairier), I played bass guitar in a band. Well recently, despite still playing guitar, I haven't touched the bass. Today I decided to change all that. The first album I ever bought was "The Shadows", back in 1961. There was a track on the album called "Nivram", and it was the bass on that track that inspired me to take up the instrument. I have always promised myself I would learn it, and never have, but this morning I decided to change all that. I've been wondering who you reminded me of when you were young - it's FatSecret member Phil 🙂. Anyway, good luck with learning the track from Nivram. It's good to take up old hobbies again.

Wow Jocko.. I used to play guitar and loved it.. but now have hobbies that don’t involve my rubbish hands, like reading and relearning the Gaelic I spoke as a child..

Nice photo, nice tune, and nice bass. I might try and learn that too. I'll see if hubby fancies playing the lead part.
