I am a mother of two lovely girls just entering their adolescence. (So far, they still think I'm all right and haven't started rolling their eyes at everything I say.) I am recently married to the love of my life, a man who thinks I am beautiful just as I am. This has led me to stay just as I am for too long. :) I would like to lose 90 pounds, to feel better, more energetic and to live a long life with this wonderful man. I have set a seven-month goal of 60 pounds, to bring me under the 200-lb mark. I plan to do this by tracking my food, moving my body and enjoying my life.
I have lost weight before, around 80 pounds, through eating moderately and exercise. Since then, my lifestyle has changed and I no longer go to the gym, although I have taken up yoga. I have plantar fascitis (really sore feet!), which makes walking painful. I am working to correct this, as walking is a major source of everyday movement that will get me to my goal.
