I slowly took off 80 pounds by daily walking and by eating a healthier, lower calorie diet. The surplus pounds came off very slowly but steadily. I paid close attention to what I ate and made a serious effort to eat a well-rounded diet. I eliminated empty calories like wine, salad dressing and jam and portion-controlled using a small kitchen scale.. Fat Secret helped me track my food and plan ahead. I found that three meals with lots of protein in each meal and a small evening snack (Greek yogurt, chia and fruit) worked best for me.
I started this weight-loss journey at the beginning of February 2018 and have slowly lost and kept off some of the weight. Unfortunately, I stopped tracking during Covid, started eating everything in sight and have gained back 50 pounds. Gasp.
I'm back on my diet and am eating much better. My goal is to lose those 50 pounds...again.
