Hello I'm new here. My name is Cindy (26) and this is the beginning of my weight loss journey story. I was always a slim well built athlete when I was younger weighing in at 120 lbs. I don't like tooting my own horn but I used to be a real head turner. Then I went to college and stress ate/binge drank. When the depression hit from coliseums worth of school work, I stopped exercising. The looks ceased to exist, the compliments definitely ended, and my self worth went down a spiraling drain. What did I do in return you may ponder? I drank excessively. As time went on the numbers on the scale rose without my concern or consent (haha). One day I weighed myself and the scale said 200 lbs. I couldn't believe it.... I was in a mess load of denial for so long. I kept telling myself, babygirl you'll get back to that fine hourglass someday. Well that "someday" never came because I didn't put my right foot forward. One night after chowing down on a Domino's Spicy Italian sandwich, I saw just how big I had gotten. My stomach hung over, my muffin top jiggled to the tone of  sweet cherry pie, my flabby arms could take flight in the wind, my thick stretch marked thighs rumbled the valleys below, boy howdy I could of cried. I weighed myself.....250 lbs. I gained over 100 lbs in 5 years. How could I do this to myself? Instead of getting depressed this time I took my (not so happy) ars straight to the doctor. Did blood work and found out that I had extremely high cholesterol levels. My doctor was starring me in the eyes, a 26 year old woman, stating that if I didn't get this under control that I could die of a heart attack or stroke. This was a real doozy for me. She told me about this app, how I should diet, and exercise. So far I am 4 weeks in and lost 13 lbs. I am pretty proud of myself. I enjoy reading the inspiration and hope you all have to offer. Thank you for reading my first chapter.
