Merry Christmas Everyone!! This has been a wild morning. Three year olds are so funny to watch and they appreciate everything :) I know my 16 year old son did too but there is a magical joy in the little ones that is infectious and gets you excited too.
I have been trying to be good...I have been baking cookies, making pies, and been exposing myself to all kids of temptations. I havent caved in, but I have been snacking more on low card food to try to avoid the naughty foods. I guess I will know in a few days when I weigh in (oh yeah..no exercise either except cleaning house) As long as I dont gain I will be happy.

I am so glad I chose to do this during the Holidays...or I would probably be in a sugar coma. There are so many things out there that if I were doing a regular diet would be so tempting. But with low carb if you mess up it can take days to get ketosis back. That itself makes it easier to say no...plus I am feeling so good. I appreciate the wonderful support on here it is sooooo motivating :)

I am new to this web site and am glad I found it. I am hoping there are more low carbers out there who would like to share support and motivation. I didnt see any low carb challenges so I created one. We will see if anyone here is interested. :)
I am at a low point and need to get up and out of it...I weigh 205 pounds and am setting a goal for myself to lose 15 lbs by January 24. If (when I succeed:) I will weigh 190 and be alot healthier already. I am planning on losing the weight in healthy ways by eating veggies for my carbs.(I could give up cookies and chocolate before I could my veggies haha)..and I guess I have for a while. Also by exercising and drinking lots of water. I have already lost 12 pounds in 2 1/2 weeks and havent started the exercise part yet. I know it slows after the first 2 weeks so I am going work extra hard.
After Jan 24 2009 I will make another small weight loss goal and keep doing it that way until I lose to my goal which is 135 which is 70 pounds total. WHEW! how did I let this happen..... time to take charge and be healthier and happier.
