Yikes up 700g what a bummer, this I attribute to not walking/moving as much as I usually do (or should), I need to hit the road more. I guess it was more a question of the cold plus being insufferably busy, that’s no excuse however.

So a two pronged attack over the next week, food wise, I might drop 50 grams per day which will be a weekly total reduction of 350 grams. Movement wise, I will have to ensure I move every single day, walking in one form or another (yes even on Sunday), which is more of a mental thing than real, I’m sure my legs don’t know it’s Sunday. 😂 these two factors combined should get me back in the right direction. Looking in the mirror, I look fine but the scales never lie except when they do - haha but this time I’m pretty sure it’s me, I thought I struggled to eat all my goal a few nights over the last week. It just seemed like so much eating. So I’ll just knock off a small daily amount to begin with. Hopefully next Friday, I’ll be in the 92 club again. If not, I’ll start weighing myself daily to spot the exact issue, probably the weekend, but I’d rather do the science than guesswork. 👍

Lately I have been using the saved meals part of this App but not for whole meals as I first used it, but for single ingredients that I use a lot. For example, Red Onions, Shallots, Mushrooms, Brown Rice and so on.

When I have an omelette for breakfast and just use different ingredients each day, I just go and pick my saved ingredients and only need the weight and can change (usually to grams) most foods so I can amend the weights to calories.

For example if an ingredient is expressed as 1/4 Cup, I change that to grams, put in whatever it weighs like a weird number say 27 grams and out comes the adjusted calories.

I also use very precise names when I save each thing and add an emoticon because the number of saved items is now grown larger than several screenfuls on my mobile. I love it 😻

Hi gang, I’m a few hours late making this weekly journal entry BT I did weigh in at the exact time on Friday morning and had a good result.

I dropped 1/2 kilo, or 500g if you like, and that was an accelerated weight drop for me. I usually lose a couple of hundred grams, so the larger drop might just be an alignment of factors like peeing a lot the night before, going to the loo 🚽 stuff like that.

Anyway, I’ll take it 🤪

There’s no need to tinker with the formula at the present time but I do watch every aspect of nutrition hyper closely, getting the macros to within 1% of my goals, which differ for different days of the week.

Anyway, I’m a few hours it will be Saturday which is my higher carb day of the week, so I’ll figure out what to eat instead if the usually higher protein. You’ve got to juggle it all around . 👍
