So my juice fasting is coming up in a few days. I am starting on May 12th. I haven't changed my date yet. I am going to purchase my juicer tonight when I get off work since today is payday! Then on the 11th I will be purchasing my fruits and veggies since I will be starting on the 12th. I will be starting with a 'Sunrise Juice' for breakfast. which includes
1 small-medium pink grapefruit, peeled
1 small apple
*I will use a gala apple
3-4 small carrots (length of a pencil, thickness of a dime)
*Fresh carrots, not baby carrots
1 tsp fresh ginger, peeled
1/2 small lemon, peeled, de-seeded
Don't worry about de-seeding anything if you have a juicer because the machine will do it for you, but I will peel my grapefruit since the skin is so so thick.
I'm super excited about juicing, I know it will be hard but I am doing this for being healthy, rebooting my body and to get closer to God (spiritual)not to lose weight.
I may do this for 5 days but then again I may do it for ten days, we'll see how things work out and I will post everyday that I am juicing to tell you my side effects and how I'm feeling and my hunger pains too!

I am going to do a ten day juice fast. I am not doing this for weight loss, I am doing this to reboot my system and clean my body out of harmful chemicals and bad greasy food. I know I will lose some weight which is good but this is more of a reboot desire. I am starting on the 12th of May. Why am I starting so late and not tomorrow, well since I am going to just be drinking juice and nothing else, I have to slowly get off food and start eating a little at a time then slowly start skipping a meal and then skip two meals. While doing that I will need to eat lots of fruits and veggies before my fast. And I know most of you will say, 'well what are you going to do when you stop your fast, you're just going to gain all the weight back'. Well no, I plan on going vegetarian (I was a vegetarian for 9 years before I met my husband) so I know about vegetarian. So when I get off my fast I will first be eating only fruits and veggies. Then I will progress to eating very small meals (no meat) only two times a day. When I say small I mean small saucer plates. I will still exercise everyday. My body will learn to eat right without eating junk food.
I know fasting will be hard especially on the second and third day but I will get used to it. I know I can do this because I do have will-power. I am so positive about this that I know I can do this even though it will be kinda hard to not be able to eat whatever I want. But I want to start over and start fresh and start eating fresh.
