so today was near a breaking point. went to bed last night at a reasonable time but found myself wide awake at 4:00 am. nothing to do but warrior through the day. by time I got home what I really wanted was spaghetti. so didn't want to pitch it all in on some pasta, so went online to find an alternative (that wouldn't require wearing pants and going to the store), bingo cabbage. bust out the mandolin and shred up half a head. gonna do it different next time cause it was more like closely chopped and not at all like pasta. now I know I could have made it healthier but hell I got a couple jars of pasta sauce in the cupboard, so gotta use em. Bonus knowing I can use ground hamburger and not worry about draining the fat. got to love that about keto.

Question:
I've been using the FS app on my phone to record my foods. yesterday I bought a chuck roast and divided it up into portions around 200g each. I cooked one of them up for dinner and recorded it in my FS app. What I'm asking about is the food weight. that 200g weight was for a raw uncooked portion. are the nutritional values in the FS app based on cooked or raw in general? i know that a cooked steak can weigh less than a raw steak, am I cheating myself out of calories that I might need because I'm on a restricted plan already? any thoughts on this would be helpful.

one week down. slowly dropping the pounds. keto diet starting to work. although I have to admit I was craving cookies last night. didn't give in, but think im gonna have to invest in some kind of replacement. anyone ever try cricket flour? saw a video on youtub and they made cookies from ground up crickets. cant get more keto than that.
