I'm still determined not to fail. I have kept adding more weight to my training and feel myself getting stronger. I am very happy when I add another 10lbs to the plates on all the machines I am using.
My clothing is fitting so much better! My 21 year old daughter said she can see that my thighs and "behind" have gotten smaller. (I should say "less large"! LOL)
I find myself asking co-workers and friends more and more questions regarding fitness and nutrition. I thought I knew enough to keep me on track, but it helps to get more ideas and broaden my list of healthy choices!
I love the PB2 and the Green Foods True Vitality protein. I've been making my recovery shakes with these two items and a banana every time I work out. I feel satisfied and they contain great probiotic cells.
I'm not trying to push any sales for these two items because I am sure there are a ton of great plant proteins out there! These are just the ones I like.
I may need to decrease my carbs and up my protein a bit more. I feel that my body is really hanging onto the water. (Yes hydration is great but I feel I'm seeing my carbs take up about 33% of my total calories. I would like to see them at around 28%.
I've appreciated the feedback to "why the scales aren't dropping", and I need to be patient. It really could be that I am building some muscle and that would make it all worth it!
I was pretty athletic in High School and College and it seems like I have the drive but I have noticed the little injuries are more noticeable now than they were 20+ years ago! My Achilles tendon is not feeling so hot so I will back off the running for a couple of days and do the bike or something else less strenuous. I'm loving weight training and should have gotten into it much sooner!!

I'm beginning to feel frustrated. The scale is staying at my current weight and I am putting a full effort into my workouts and eating 5 times a day and keeping it around 1300 calories. I am doing at least 3 days weight training and cardio 3-4 times per week.
I understand the idea of muscle weighs more than fat but I doubt I have created that much muscle! My clothing is looking better, but WHY the heck isn't the weight coming off? ARghhhhhhhhhh!!!
I'm taking multi vitamins, I'm back on my thyroid meds that I quit taking over a year ago, and my meals are in check. Has anyone else had this happen and then saw the lbs come off eventually?

Yah so today/last night was Halloween and I didn't do too bad. I had a couple pieces of laffy taffy, (small ones), a piece of licorice and two pieces of bacon. (My kids wanted breakfast for dinner LOL)
I don't feel like I really messed up. If I can keep a grip during all the holidays then hopefully by Valentines I will be looking the way I want, and feeling my best!! My hope is to wear a fun dress for my boyfriend on Valentines and cause his eyeballs to pop out of his head!!! He continually tells me I am beautiful and my body is perfect, but I don't agree.
I'm thankful to be able to workout and achieve my goals. Step by step I can make it! I know I can!

I have been really dedicated to my workouts and eating 5 healthy meals a day. The scale has barely budged, but I can see a difference in my clothing! My pants are a little baggy!!! I wear a duty belt for my job, and I haven't adjusted the outer belt and it is sagging on top of my Velcro belt that attaches to it!!
I don't see how after only 2 weeks there would be visible change in my body and only 1 lb on the scale!! WTHeck?!?!? Am I imagining it?
I will stick to the goals I have set and not worry too much about the scale just yet. :)
