The past 3 days of tracking show I'm eating about 400 calories a day over my alleged limit of 1400 calories a day. Gotta work on that. Yesterday I ate too many snacks, darn my hubby for making brownies! Still managed to trim off 1/4 lb, well I didn't get this weight overnight & as much as I'd like to, I'm not going to lose it overnight either. My work schedule has changed, I'm now working 1-5pm on Tues/Thurs, followed by teaching swim lessons. Meaning today is a little compressed with a lot less time to be lazy in the mornings, which is probably a good thing. Have a great day, everyone!

Looking at my calories for the past 3 days & I'm way over 1400, even though I'm still in a small deficit today. Well that's good I guess. Too many snacks today, so I'll have to pare those back tomorrow. I just took my evening Omeprazole, so no more food today no matter how hungry I feel! Have a good evening, everyone!

Got called into work early so I didn't get on the treadclimber, and I was in the water about 10 minutes before a storm closed the swimming pool, bummer! Oh well, there's always tomorrow...at least I didn't eat as much. Still working on pulling the calories down, but it didn't help that Hubby baked brownies. I've just had one so far, so good.

Well that's a pleasant surprise, considering last night's overdo. I learned a valuable lesson from that - follow my doctor's advice to NOT eat anything after 8pm, & be sure to take that second dose of Omeprazole. Yeah, my GERD is getting slightly worse. I imagine the weight gain may have something to do with it, since excess weight seems to affect everything else. I also need to be sure to get my steps in, my new goal is 8000 daily & I fell short yesterday. Somehow I did get in 30 move minutes, actually 74, despite not doing any official exercise. Today I'm determined to get those 8000 steps in. Plus, I'm now officially a swim instructor, and I have a goal of getting to my class early to swim 200 yards. That's down & back 4 times, & should take me between 10 & 20 minutes. That's one exercise my fitbit knockoff doesn't pick up, since it's not waterproof, oh well. Usually I'm pretty exhausted after class, so I really need to get those steps in before I go, so it's time for a walk around the block. Weather has cooled considerably, so no excuses!

Well I didn't get off to the BEST start, had a Ladies' night planned & went to Chili's. Held myself to about 1/4 of a serving of the chicken bacon quesadillas & 1 Margarita, but that still put me way over on calories. Plus, no exercise😒
Oh well, I'll do better tomorrow....
