Trying a new strategy... which seems to be working. Cut out most beer and dropped other liquor consumption by 50%. Drink red wine mixed with mineral water (spritzer) when I do drink.
Trying to fast for 16 hours+ per day. So: Big meal around 4pm then nothing until at least 8am the following day. Breakfast is a smoothie of some sort with lots of fresh fruit. Then, if I get hungry, I snack on veggies like carrots and celery. Drink lots of water.
It's not easy and certainly not long term. But it definitely has motivated me. I've lost 8.6 lbs in 12 days. Probably a lot of water... but all good. Feel great. Lots of energy. Sleep well.
