Grrrr....Forgot to take my blood pressure medicine yesterday (I know... I know...). Despite yesterday's long and grueling hike, It shows on the scale this morning (water retention).
Start of a beautiful week..2 Challenges in process thanks to my buddy Wayne..A third challenge yesterday from a friend who saw me yesterday and challenged me to loose more weight than she in one week ( I know she will beat me..her detox...it would be good for her morale)
Went to my in-laws yesterday. They have not seen me since I started this journey. Spent the whole visit talking about diets and foods and exercise. They were screaming like a lady in labor when they first saw me and asked to see the REAL one they knew before. Told them they only get a smaller version. It was fun getting this attention. I ended up eating very very light for lunch with them (I had to prove a point). P.S. it was my brother in laws 40th birthday. They had 3 different cakes. In laws did not believe it when I had one bite only(smaller than a thimble) of one cake (instead of the old me who would have had one large slice of each). Have a nice and LIGHT week ya'll.
