Things are going fine. Weight remaining fairly stable. Still getting some daily walking in with my Price Monitoring job that I do in the mornings. Yesterday, my husband's aunt gave him a whole Chocolate Meringue Pie for his birthday. I had one piece, but didn't much care for the texture, so that's probably all I'll eat. She also gave him a 12-oz tin of Chocolate Covered Peanuts, though, which I've already eaten half of.
Tomorrow, my daughter's family is coming over and bringing lunch for the birthday. She's making pork roast, mashed potatoes, gravy and bananas foster creme brulee. I'm making string beans, sauerkraut, Sister Schubert rolls and sweet tea. Should be a good time! With having my car broken down, I haven't gotten to see my grandkids since my grandson's birthday two weeks ago!
We had a tremendous blessing yesterday! We had decided to go ahead with the repair on my car - about $1,000 to complete what still needs to be done. My husband's aunt and uncle gave us $1,000 to pay for the whole thing!!! My God has always supplied for our needs, and never ceases to amaze me in the ways He does it - quite unexpected! Praise the Lord!!!
I have black fuzzy mold in the 12" diameter drain in the bottom of my broken dishwasher (in which I air dry the dishes, which I have to wash by hand). Yesterday, the dishwasher had gotten closed overnight, and it smelled TERRIBLE when I opened it that morning! After having it open last night, it isn't so bad today.
